Laminate School Lockers - Benjamin Brittain School, Suffolk

Benjamin Britten Music Academy and Centre of Excellence in Mathematics is a co-educational day school founded in honour of England's greatest composer and child of Lowestoft, Benjamin Britten.

It is part of the Hartismere Family of Schools- judged as Outstanding by Ofsted. It is also sponsored by The Britten Pears Foundation. The school hosts Suffolk's Centre of Excellence in Mathematics designated to raise standards throughout the Lowestoft and Suffolk areas.

The school were looking for a robust and stylish locker system to securely store student’s belongings.

The obvious choice was our Ultimate laminate door school locker. This features a fully welded steel frame, which is much stronger than the standard riveted version. Rather than steel doors that can be dented, we suggested going for a solid grade laminate for the doors. This material is extremely robust, dent resistant is perfect for school use.

We felt It would also be a good idea to clad the end of each locker runs with this material (end panels) to prevent damage to the sides of the lockers.

We have supplied lockers to Benjamin Britten for several years now as part of their phased locker programme.
