Residential Locker Delivery Restrictions

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery services to residential or home addresses for locker orders. Our locker deliveries typically involve the use of a 16.5 meter long arctic lorry, which requires ample space for pallet unloading at the delivery location. In the event that you place a locker order with delivery to a residential address, please note that we will automatically cancel the order and initiate a refund, as our manufacturer strictly prohibits deliveries to residential addresses.

Additionally, it is important to mention that for all locker deliveries, we require someone to be on-site from 9am to 5pm, every weekday to accept delivery. This on-site presence is crucial to ensure the safe and efficient unloading of the locker(s) and to address any delivery-related concerns that may arise. Therefore, when placing an order, please ensure that a responsible party will be available during these hours at the designated commercial or business address to facilitate a successful delivery, and to prevent the need for a chargeable redelivery.

Lockers, typically, are not available for return due to the fact they are custom made-to-order. Unlike standard, off-the-shelf products, lockers are often designed and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. This made-to-order approach ensures that lockers are tailored to fit the unique needs of the customer, whether it’s for a specific size, style, material, or configuration.

Because lockers are crafted with such individualised specifications in mind, they may not be suitable for resale to other customers. This means that once the manufacturing process begins, it is challenging for the manufacturer or retailer to accept returns or exchanges for lockers. Additionally, the customisation process often involves significant time and resources, making it impractical to accept returns without incurring substantial costs.

To avoid potential dissatisfaction, it’s crucial for customers to carefully review their locker specifications and confirm that they meet their requirements before placing an order. Many manufacturers and retailers provide detailed product information and design consultations to ensure that customers receive lockers that align with their expectations. This approach helps to ensure that each locker serves its intended purpose effectively and minimises the need for returns.
